DIRECTIONS

James Joyce House at 15 Usher's Island, Dublin 8 is located on the south bank of the river Liffey only a bridge away from Huston Station. The new white high arched James Joyce Bridge, designed by Calatrava, literally leads to the hall door of the house.

LUAS passes the front door just across the bridge between the Museum and Smithfield stops.

Once an actual island it is now part of the south quays of Dublin City. Heading west from the city centre you pass Wood Quay, Merchant's Quay, Usher's Quay (Statoil Car Parking) and then Usher's Island just after the junction with Bridgefoot Street.
